Convergence
«I wanted by this image to evoke the essence of the theatrical spectacle. At the extremities, you can see the right angles which suggest the stage as well as the cinematographic frame. Inside this representational space there is a circle, the centre of the theatrical presence and the symbol of space and time found in the magic of the theatre. The two diagonal lines suggest the dynamic action of the artistic performance. They symbolize elements representing the performing arts. Music and song are on one side and on the other, a mixture of contemporary experiences, such as the meeting between art and the spectator.»
